Transformative Impact

Homes for Those in Need

At He Is the Remedy, our mission extends far beyond individual programs; it’s about building a thriving, empowered community. Through our community development initiatives, we are helping families secure safe homes, providing economic support to widows, and assisting youth in paying for school fees. Our commitment is to nurture every aspect of a healthy, sustainable community. Whether it’s offering financial stability, ensuring access to education, or creating safe spaces to live, we believe it’s our calling to use the ministry to support and uplift all areas of life. Together, we are building a stronger, more hopeful future for everyone involved..

Building Together

11 Homes in 11 Months

< Providing Shelter, Restoring Dignity >

Driven by compassion, our 11 Homes in 11 Months project was launched to address the urgent need for safe, secure housing. Many families in our community were living in dire conditions, often in homes that were barely standing. Some were forced to seek shelter in dark fields, broken-down buildings, and abandoned structures where they were at constant risk of disease from rats and death from snake bites. Others, marginalized and stigmatized as squatters, had illegally built makeshift homes on railroad land, living under the constant threat of eviction.

These families faced not only physical dangers but also the emotional toll of being excluded and looked down upon by the wider community. Through this initiative, we have built 11 new homes in just 11 months, providing these families with a safe, secure place to call their own.

More than just a structure, each home represents a fresh start, restoring their dignity and offering a foundation for a brighter, more hopeful future.

Widows' Ecomonic

Empowerment

< Rebuilding lives & Strengthening community >

In Kenya, women are often the backbone of a strong economy, especially when given the right tools and opportunities. However, when a woman loses her husband, she is frequently left with little to nothing, struggling to support herself and her family. Recognizing this challenge, He is the Remedy has focused on empowering over 300 widows in 3 widows groups through sustainable economic initiatives.

By providing resources and training in projects such as sheep rearing and soap making, we have enabled a local widows' support group to earn a livelihood and regain their sense of independence. These initiatives not only help these women to support themselves financially but also restore their dignity and place within the community.

Through their hard work, these widows are rebuilding their lives, contributing to the local economy, and becoming strong, empowered members of society. The impact of this program goes beyond individual success—it strengthens the entire community by turning vulnerability into resilience and hope.

“The home that He is the Remedy provided my family transformed our lives. Living on railroad land, our house was being torn down every year and we were often homeless. Through the love of Jesus Christ, our entire family was able to come out of poverty.”

Sponsorhip of

Student School Fees

The Kenyan government promotes the idea of free education for all children, but the reality is often very different. Families are burdened with hidden costs such as book fees, tutor fees, and uniform fees, which can be overwhelming, especially for those living in poverty. These additional expenses mean that many children end up missing several years of their education simply because their families cannot afford to send them to school. Recognizing the potential in these young individuals, He is the Remedy has stepped in to sponsor a handful of promising students who show exceptional drive and determination.

Our sponsorship program ensures that these children have the support they need from the start to the finish of their education, helping them overcome financial barriers and giving them the opportunity to realize their full potential. Through this initiative, we are not just providing access to education; we are investing in the future leaders of our community.

Bible - Based

Youth Camps

During the school break season, our BLAST Evangelical team, composed of dedicated football players, runs a vibrant Bible-based Youth camp designed to positively influence the next generation. These camps are more than just a way to keep children and teens occupied—they are a critical part of our mission to protect young people from the dangers of idleness, drugs, and homelessness that many of our team members faced in their own lives. The BLAST team is deeply passionate about their role in shaping the future of their community, and they pour their hearts into these camps, teaching biblical principles, building character, and fostering a sense of purpose in the children.

By engaging with the youth in these formative years, we aim to guide them away from the paths of despair and towards lives filled with hope, faith, and the potential for positive change. These camps are not just about fun and games; they are about laying the groundwork for a stronger, more resilient community, one child at a time.

Building a Permanent Home for He Is the Remedy

A Vision for a Permanent Home

Our journey together has been marked by prayer, encouragement, and countless victories, both big and small. Now, He Is the Remedy has taken one of its most important steps yet: launching a Land Fundraiser to secure a permanent property.

This land will not simply be property. It will serve as a place of refuge, training, and transformation—the physical foundation for Kingdom work that has already been flourishing, and for the even greater impact ahead.

What This Land Will Provide

  • Expanded Youth Sports Ministry: Offering mentorship and purpose to local teens through sports and discipleship.

  • Spiritual Growth and Training: A space dedicated to biblical teaching and spiritual development.

  • Farming and Feeding Programs: Increased capacity to grow food and reach more families in need.

  • A Permanent Church Home: A place to worship freely and hold Sunday services.

  • Hospitality for Volunteers: Safe accommodations for mission teams and ministry partners.

This step represents not just stability, but generational transformation.

Partnering in the Vision

Reaching this goal requires a wider circle of support. Friends and partners have been invited to come alongside this vision in two meaningful ways:

  1. Giving — through one-time gifts or ongoing monthly support.

  2. Sharing — by telling at least one other person, group, or church community about the mission.

Even the smallest action—one share, one conversation, one donation—carries the power to change lives.

A Collective Step of Faith

This is more than a fundraiser. It is a testimony in the making—a story of faith, unity, and countless hands coming together to build something lasting.

He Is the Remedy believes this land will anchor the work God is doing in Chebaiywa, Kenya, and beyond. And as always, this journey is fuelled by your love, your prayers, and your unwavering belief in the mission.
