Empowerment
Our community empowerment initiatives are designed to address the most pressing needs in our communities while fostering long-term growth and stability. Through a combination of sustainable development projects and faith-driven outreach, we aim to provide opportunities, support, and hope to those who need it most. Each project is a testament to our commitment to making a lasting difference, one life at a time.

Our housing initiative provides families with secure homes and a fresh start, representing hope, stability, and the transformative power of compassion and community-driven change.

Our programs equip widows with the tools to achieve financial independence and reclaim their dignity, transforming them into empowered members of the community through sustainable livelihoods.

School Sponsorship & Youth Camps
We’re committed to shaping the next generation by providing access to education and spiritual growth through school fee sponsorships and through our BLAST team's Bible-based Youth Camps.
Transformative Impact
At He Is the Remedy, our mission extends far beyond individual programs; it’s about building a thriving, empowered community. Through our community development initiatives, we are helping families secure safe homes, providing economic support to widows, and assisting youth in paying for school fees. Our commitment is to nurture every aspect of a healthy, sustainable community. Whether it’s offering financial stability, ensuring access to education, or creating safe spaces to live, we believe it’s our calling to use the ministry to support and uplift all areas of life. Together, we are building a stronger, more hopeful future for everyone involved..

Driven by compassion, our 11 Homes in 11 Months project was launched to address the urgent need for safe, secure housing. Many families in our community were living in dire conditions, often in homes that were barely standing. Some were forced to seek shelter in dark fields, broken-down buildings, and abandoned structures where they were at constant risk of disease from rats and death from snake bites. Others, marginalized and stigmatized as squatters, had illegally built makeshift homes on railroad land, living under the constant threat of eviction.
These families faced not only physical dangers but also the emotional toll of being excluded and looked down upon by the wider community. Through this initiative, we have built 11 new homes in just 11 months, providing these families with a safe, secure place to call their own.
More than just a structure, each home represents a fresh start, restoring their dignity and offering a foundation for a brighter, more hopeful future.

In Kenya, women are often the backbone of a strong economy, especially when given the right tools and opportunities. However, when a woman loses her husband, she is frequently left with little to nothing, struggling to support herself and her family. Recognizing this challenge, He is the Remedy has focused on empowering over 300 widows in 3 widows groups through sustainable economic initiatives.
By providing resources and training in projects such as sheep rearing and soap making, we have enabled a local widows' support group to earn a livelihood and regain their sense of independence. These initiatives not only help these women to support themselves financially but also restore their dignity and place within the community.
Through their hard work, these widows are rebuilding their lives, contributing to the local economy, and becoming strong, empowered members of society. The impact of this program goes beyond individual success—it strengthens the entire community by turning vulnerability into resilience and hope.

The Kenyan government promotes the idea of free education for all children, but the reality is often very different. Families are burdened with hidden costs such as book fees, tutor fees, and uniform fees, which can be overwhelming, especially for those living in poverty. These additional expenses mean that many children end up missing several years of their education simply because their families cannot afford to send them to school. Recognizing the potential in these young individuals, He is the Remedy has stepped in to sponsor a handful of promising students who show exceptional drive and determination.
Our sponsorship program ensures that these children have the support they need from the start to the finish of their education, helping them overcome financial barriers and giving them the opportunity to realize their full potential. Through this initiative, we are not just providing access to education; we are investing in the future leaders of our community.
During the school break season, our BLAST Evangelical team, composed of dedicated football players, runs a vibrant Bible-based Youth camp designed to positively influence the next generation. These camps are more than just a way to keep children and teens occupied—they are a critical part of our mission to protect young people from the dangers of idleness, drugs, and homelessness that many of our team members faced in their own lives. The BLAST team is deeply passionate about their role in shaping the future of their community, and they pour their hearts into these camps, teaching biblical principles, building character, and fostering a sense of purpose in the children.
By engaging with the youth in these formative years, we aim to guide them away from the paths of despair and towards lives filled with hope, faith, and the potential for positive change. These camps are not just about fun and games; they are about laying the groundwork for a stronger, more resilient community, one child at a time.

When we first watched the video of Caleb sharing his heart, we were deeply moved. Caleb was not just our operations manager—he was a friend, a son in the faith, and someone who had walked with Russ in discipleship for more than five years. He lived and breathed the ministry, knowing that everything we did belonged to Jesus and was for His glory.
In a powerful act of faith, Caleb personally donated to the Land Campaign Fund. To the world, his gift of $20 USD might have seemed small compared to the $500,000 goal. But to Caleb and his family, it was sacrificial. They gave up something of their own so that they could sow into God’s work.
This campaign was never just about buying land. It was about permanence, roots, and legacy.

Land to grow food and feed families.
Land to build a church and community center.
Land to host visitors and share the Word of God.
Land that would serve as the foundation for generations of ministry to come.
We knew it was a big ask. We knew the goal could only be reached through a miracle. And we trusted God for that miracle.
Caleb’s sacrificial giving reminded us that this was not about equal amounts, but equal faith. His testimony called others to step out and trust God for provision, no matter the size of the gift.
We invited our supporters to join Caleb in this journey of faith—believing together for the miracle of land, and giving all glory to God.
