Providing
Life Skills &
Employment
through Farming
Our farming program is designed to do more than just grow crops; it cultivates futures. Through hands-on training in sustainable agriculture, we equip individuals with the skills they need to provide for themselves and their families. This program offers a pathway out of poverty and into a life of dignity and purpose, keeping youth engaged in meaningful work and away from the cycle of drug and alcohol abuse that was rampant before they began farming and playing football with He is the Remedy.
The impact of our farming initiative extends beyond individual gain—it builds community, fosters collaboration, and strengthens resilience. As these young men grow in their skills, they share their farming knowledge with others, support food outreaches, and witness how prayer has consistently yielded healthy crops, creating a foundation for long-term community development.
Transformative Impact
Our farming program has transformed the lives of many young men who once faced uncertain futures. Through this initiative, they have gained essential skills that provide them with a sense of purpose and stability. Their journeys from uncertainty to fulfillment are powerful testimonies to the impact of sustainable farming, not only on individuals but also on the entire community. This program equips participants to build brighter futures while contributing to the well-being of those around them.
The farming program has provided young men with a crucial opportunity to move beyond lives once overshadowed by crime, drug abuse, and early pregnancies. By learning agricultural skills, they’ve not only secured steady income but also gained a sense of purpose and direction. This program has enabled them to improve their own lives and uplift their families, offering a meaningful alternative to the challenges they once faced.
With each successful harvest, they’ve come to see their work as a blessing from God, which motivates them to give back. They participate in food outreaches, bringing their produce to communities like Narok, which has suffered from a 7 year prolonged drought.
Through these efforts, they share not only food but also their faith, spreading hope and the message of Jesus to others in need. Their journey from hardship to leadership is a testament to the powerful impact of the farming initiative.

Dear friends and supporters,
We’re filled with joy and gratitude as we bring you a fresh update from the field. It’s been a season of growth, harvest, and unmistakable faithfulness here in Kenya—and we’re excited to give you a front-row seat to all that God is doing through He Is the Remedy.
Our recent outreach to Sigor and Southern Turkana was a massive success—over 1,000 families were fed, and the Gospel was received with joy and open hearts, even across language barriers.
This wasn’t just a distribution of food—it was an encounter with hope.
Our team grew in boldness, leadership, and faith, stepping into deeper levels of service and surrender. We're incredibly thankful to everyone who supported this mission—and we’re already planning the next outreach. Stay tuned!
We just wrapped one of our most impactful kids and youth camps to date!
Through deep study, relationship-building, and years of faithful ministry, we witnessed something remarkable:
More than 80 kids and youth said YES to Jesus!
What once were seeds have now become fruit. Seeing lives transformed before our eyes—some from years of quiet discipleship—is one of the deepest joys we know.
We’ve just begun planting maize for our next food outreach—and the excitement in our team is real.
This isn’t just farming. It’s provision with purpose. Every harvest helps us feed vulnerable families, strengthen sustainability, and continue the cycle of empowerment.
We praise God for good soil, new beginnings, and a future we get to sow into—together.
This is big: We bought the BLAST Bus!
After many prayers and months of searching, we finally secured a vehicle that will serve our mission powerfully. The bus will be used to transport:
Our football players
Evangelism teams
Outreach supplies
It’s a major step toward safety, sustainability, and scaling the work we’ve been called to do.

We also took a breath recently to celebrate an overdue anniversary and birthday trip to Samburu—a beautiful corner of Kenya where we soaked in rest and restoration.
Meanwhile, back on the ground:
Our football team is holding first place as the season wraps up!
Discipleship and evangelism are thriving—our team is bringing new faces to church every week, living out the Gospel in real time.
Next month, we’ll be launching something we've been praying over for years—our 2-Year Land Campaign.
This is about building a permanent home for the mission:
No more renting
Space to farm and grow
Facilities to host teams
A place for legacy and long-term impact
We can’t wait to share this vision with you. It’s big. It’s bold. And it’s going to bless generations.
For favor and smooth processing of our Visa renewals
Healing for Joshua, our faithful farm manager, who is currently ill
Safety, travel mercies, and open hearts for our May mission team
Continued strength and joy for our staff and leaders who serve tirelessly every week
