Providing
Life Skills &
Employment
through Farming
Our farming program is designed to do more than just grow crops; it cultivates futures. Through hands-on training in sustainable agriculture, we equip individuals with the skills they need to provide for themselves and their families. This program offers a pathway out of poverty and into a life of dignity and purpose, keeping youth engaged in meaningful work and away from the cycle of drug and alcohol abuse that was rampant before they began farming and playing football with He is the Remedy.
The impact of our farming initiative extends beyond individual gain—it builds community, fosters collaboration, and strengthens resilience. As these young men grow in their skills, they share their farming knowledge with others, support food outreaches, and witness how prayer has consistently yielded healthy crops, creating a foundation for long-term community development.
Transformative Impact
Our farming program has transformed the lives of many young men who once faced uncertain futures. Through this initiative, they have gained essential skills that provide them with a sense of purpose and stability. Their journeys from uncertainty to fulfillment are powerful testimonies to the impact of sustainable farming, not only on individuals but also on the entire community. This program equips participants to build brighter futures while contributing to the well-being of those around them.
The farming program has provided young men with a crucial opportunity to move beyond lives once overshadowed by crime, drug abuse, and early pregnancies. By learning agricultural skills, they’ve not only secured steady income but also gained a sense of purpose and direction. This program has enabled them to improve their own lives and uplift their families, offering a meaningful alternative to the challenges they once faced.
With each successful harvest, they’ve come to see their work as a blessing from God, which motivates them to give back. They participate in food outreaches, bringing their produce to communities like Narok, which has suffered from a 7 year prolonged drought.
Through these efforts, they share not only food but also their faith, spreading hope and the message of Jesus to others in need. Their journey from hardship to leadership is a testament to the powerful impact of the farming initiative.

This week, our team sets out on one of our most meaningful missions yet—an outreach to Sigor and Southern Turkana, Kenya.
Our goal: to serve over 1,500 families with food, worship, and the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
But this story goes deeper than meals or miles traveled.
It’s about transformation. Redemption. And the miracle of second chances.
There was a time when Nyoka wouldn’t even pray with us.
Addiction had hardened his heart, closed off hope, and convinced him that his story was over.
But God had other plans.
Through the ministry of He Is the Remedy, Nyoka found healing, freedom, and a new identity.
Today, he is a counselor, a bold evangelist, and a living testimony of what God can do.
He now walks in leadership—using his past not as a prison, but as a pulpit. In Turkana, Nyoka will share his story, helping others see that freedom is possible.
“God used my pain to become my platform. Now I get to lead others into the light.” — Nyoka
Like Nyoka, Katupa once battled the darkness of alcohol and drugs.
He felt lost, ashamed, and unworthy of anything more.
But Jesus met him there.
Through consistent discipleship and authentic community, Katupa broke free—and discovered a passion for reaching others just like him.
Now, he’s stepping out in faith—joining our Turkana team to preach, lead worship, share drama performances, and screen the Jesus Film for families who may be hearing the Gospel for the very first time.
It’s a holy assignment—filled with bold testimonies, practical love, and spiritual breakthrough.
But as we go, we need your support.
While our farm harvests help provide food, we still need thousands of dollars in additional supplies to serve these families.
🙏 Would you consider giving $100 (or any amount) to help meet this need?
Every gift helps us feed a family—and introduce them to the hope found in Christ.

When you support this ministry, you’re doing more than donating to a cause.
You’re helping write redemptive stories—like Nyoka’s and Katupa’s.
You’re putting meals on tables, and Bibles in hands.
You’re helping us reach hearts that are hungry for more than just food.
From addiction recovery to evangelistic outreach, from seeds planted in soil to souls won for Christ—your love is fueling every step.
