Providing
Life Skills &
Employment
through Farming
Our farming program is designed to do more than just grow crops; it cultivates futures. Through hands-on training in sustainable agriculture, we equip individuals with the skills they need to provide for themselves and their families. This program offers a pathway out of poverty and into a life of dignity and purpose, keeping youth engaged in meaningful work and away from the cycle of drug and alcohol abuse that was rampant before they began farming and playing football with He is the Remedy.
The impact of our farming initiative extends beyond individual gain—it builds community, fosters collaboration, and strengthens resilience. As these young men grow in their skills, they share their farming knowledge with others, support food outreaches, and witness how prayer has consistently yielded healthy crops, creating a foundation for long-term community development.
Transformative Impact
Our farming program has transformed the lives of many young men who once faced uncertain futures. Through this initiative, they have gained essential skills that provide them with a sense of purpose and stability. Their journeys from uncertainty to fulfillment are powerful testimonies to the impact of sustainable farming, not only on individuals but also on the entire community. This program equips participants to build brighter futures while contributing to the well-being of those around them.
The farming program has provided young men with a crucial opportunity to move beyond lives once overshadowed by crime, drug abuse, and early pregnancies. By learning agricultural skills, they’ve not only secured steady income but also gained a sense of purpose and direction. This program has enabled them to improve their own lives and uplift their families, offering a meaningful alternative to the challenges they once faced.
With each successful harvest, they’ve come to see their work as a blessing from God, which motivates them to give back. They participate in food outreaches, bringing their produce to communities like Narok, which has suffered from a 7 year prolonged drought.
Through these efforts, they share not only food but also their faith, spreading hope and the message of Jesus to others in need. Their journey from hardship to leadership is a testament to the powerful impact of the farming initiative.

At He Is the Remedy, we continue to stand in awe of what God is doing across Kenya—and we're thrilled to bring you into the story.
Recently, our team returned from an unforgettable outreach to Turkana, one of Kenya’s most drought-stricken, food-insecure regions. It was there that over 1,000 families were fed, and the Gospel was boldly shared in word and action.
What we witnessed was more than a mission—it was a move of God.
Feel the joy. Hear the worship. Witness the impact.
After years of prayer, perseverance, and dreaming forward—the BLAST Bus is here!
This is a game-changer for our ministry. With this new vehicle, we can now safely transport:
Our youth football teams
Evangelism and outreach crews
Supplies for food distribution and events
🎶 The best part? The team sang songs of joy when it rolled in.
Head to our [Facebook] and [Instagram] to watch their reactions and celebrate with us!
We’re humbled and proud to share the story of Festus, who recently completed a 90-day recovery program. Not only did he graduate—he was honoured for his leadership and spiritual growth during the process.
Now fully surrendered to Christ, Festus feels a new call stirring in his heart:
“I want to speak to high school boys—share my testimony, and warn them about the dangers of alcohol and drugs.”
A broken past is becoming a platform for purpose.
Open doors and favour for Festus’ new ministry vision
Continued protection, healing, and wisdom as he steps into leadership
We’re preparing to launch what we believe is our most pivotal project yet:
A 2-Year Land Campaign that will secure a permanent base for the mission.
Why does this matter?
End renting and plant roots
Expand sustainable farming initiatives
Build facilities to host mission teams
Establish a lasting home for community ministry
📢 More details are coming soon—but know this:
We’re building not just for now, but for generations.
From Turkana to the BLAST Bus, from Festus’ recovery to the land we hope to call home—you are in every story.
Your prayers. Your giving. Your belief in this mission.
You are helping build something eternal.
